Upcoming Mount Changes in WoW

Oh how World of Warcraft has changed.  I have been playing WoW since day one of it’s release and I remember the good ole’ days.  Back when it took two months to hit level 40, MC was the only raid out there, the Grand Marshel grind was the top PvP title (I still consider that better than Glad), where only 2-3 guilds could down Nef, you could get full tier 1-2 and own everyone in pvp, standing outside IF for hours on end dueling never got old, and Alterac Valley was an all day event. Well, maybe not that last one… But you get the point.

And now today, Blizzard released the new mount changes to help n00bs and alts level up faster: Apprentice Riding skill at lvl 20 for only 4g, Journeyman riding at lvl 40 for only 50g. Granted it is for the good of the game, and allows newer players to catch up with everyone else.  But I remember grinding for hours to save up for my epic ground mount and what a reward it was to hit lvl 60 and buy one.  I think Blizzard should have “rollback” servers, where the top level is 60, and you can’t go higer.  With the old school unbalanced talent trees (I can’t even remember what they looked like, or the end talents) and all the level 60 raids, just for some nostalgia.
